I want to start by sharing just another reminder to all, this is my final post of three. Again, I don't expect anyone to fully comprehend what I have shared, if any do, it's only because God has chosen to reveal it, through His Holy Spirit, His Son, Jesus Christ.
Who is my teacher?
1 John 2:24-27 ASV — As for you, let that abide in you which ye heard from the beginning. If that which ye heard from the beginning abide in you, ye also shall abide in the Son, and in the Father. And this is the promise which he promised us, even the life eternal. These things have I written unto you concerning them that would lead you astray. And as for you, the anointing which ye received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any one teach you; but as his anointing teacheth you concerning all things, and is true, and is no lie, and even as it taught you, ye abide in him.
I don't go to church because I need a teacher, I go to church to share the love and help those in need...trinitarian or not, I help all, believer or not. I have studies, to share scriptures and my thoughts on them, not to force anyone to believe like me. If you don't see it my way, that's fine, you don't have to...I love you anyway.
On my travels away from the JWs, I see how many religions get some things right, and how they get some things wrong...yet, they are all the same, just done differently. Not one religion gets it right all of the time, so to say you're the truth, is a lie, and takes away from the one who is the truth...Jesus Christ.
Religion on earth is run by man (confusion), not the Christ. He was the first of the anointed, and will be with the last of the anointed...
Hebrews 3:1 ASV — Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of a heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, even Jesus;
These are chosen before they are born...
Romans 9:15 ASV — For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.
Romans 9:20 ASV — Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why didst thou make me thus?
Romans 9:24-25 ASV — even us, whom he also called, not from the Jews only, but also from the Gentiles? As he saith also in Hosea, I will call that my people, which was not my people; And her beloved, that was not beloved.
Vessels are Chosen for Christ, by the Almighty God Jehovah...
Acts 9:15 ASV — But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles and kings, and the children of Israel:
He received a baptism into Christ death by Holy Spirit (Born Again), not a water baptism as many JWs believe.
Acts 9:17-18 ASV — And Ananias departed, and entered into the house; and laying his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, who appeared unto thee in the way which thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mayest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Spirit. And straightway there fell from his eyes as it were scales, and he received his sight; and he arose and was baptized; (meaning ~ he received Holy Spirit)
Jehovah God is the Head of everything, Jesus Christ is the head of the church and through him I have been taught well. Let's follow the examples Jehovah God has given us, revealed through His Son, Jesus Christ, and not doctrines of men.
Isaiah 45:21-23 ASV — Declare ye, and bring it forth; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath showed this from ancient time? who hath declared it of old? have not I, Jehovah? and there is no God else besides me, a just God and a Saviour; there is none besides me. Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is none else. By myself have I sworn, the word is gone forth from my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, that unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.
1 Timothy 2:5 ASV — For there is one God, one mediator also between God and men, himself man, Christ Jesus,
Every knee will bend and confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, because there's only one God.
Philippians 2:9-11 ASV — Wherefore also God highly exalted him, and gave unto him the name which is above every name; that in the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven and things on earth and things under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Matthew 12:8 ASV — For the Son of man is lord of the sabbath.
Revelation 21:22 ASV — And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God the Almighty, and the Lamb, are the temple thereof.
Without LOVE you have NOTHING...I know many non-believers who are more loving than those who believe.
1 Corinthians 13:1-3 ASV — If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am become sounding brass, or a clanging cymbal. And if I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. And if I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and if I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profiteth me nothing.
Please don't remain infants in your learning...
1 Corinthians 13:9-13 ASV — For we know in part, and we prophesy in part; but when that which is perfect is come, that which is in part shall be done away. When I was a child, I spake as a child, I felt as a child, I thought as a child: now that I am become a man, I have put away childish things. For now we see in a mirror, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know fully even as also I was fully known. But now abideth faith, hope, love, these three; and the greatest of these is love.
The Two Greatest Commandments...
Matthew 22:37-40 ASV — And he said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second like unto it is this, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. On these two commandments the whole law hangeth, and the prophets.
Jesus Came to save the world... All will be judged, those with biblical knowledge will be held to a higher standard.
John 12:44 ASV — And Jesus cried and said, He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me.
John 12:47 ASV — And if any man hear my sayings, and keep them not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
John 12:49 ASV — For I spake not from myself; but the Father that sent me, he hath given me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.
John 12:50 ASV — And I know that his commandment is life eternal; the things therefore which I speak, even as the Father hath said unto me, so I speak.
What is the BEAUTY of RELIGION?
Knowing how to do what they say, but not as they do. If it divisive and unloving, don't do it. You have the beautiful gift of freewill. No one can tell you how the Bible should read to you. If it doesn't make sense to you, keep digging and
do everything in love.
Matthew 23:3 ASV — all things therefore whatsoever they bid you, these do and observe: but do not ye after their works; for they say, and do not.
Joshua 1:8 ASV — This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth, but thou shalt meditate thereon day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
If you fear what others think, you lack faith and don't have enough fear in Jehovah. I fear Jehovah, losing Him, disappointing Him in any way. I love Him. I go to my Father for everything and He guides my way.
Proverbs 14:2 ASV — He that walketh in his uprightness feareth Jehovah; But he that is perverse in his ways despiseth him.
Romans 8:38-39 ASV — For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
