What is False Religion?

What does it mean to be BIAS?

Bias - noun; Prejudice in favor of or against one thing, person, or group compared with another, usually in a way considered to be unfair.
synonyms:
prejudice · partiality · partisanship · favoritism · unfairness · one-sidedness

Bias can be applied to many instances... religion is definitely one of them. Example: regardless if someone is baptized or not, why wouldn't you give them a blood card? Why does one have to be baptized to get one? They believe the same as you do, are they not important enough? Who made that a rule...Is Jehovah partial? (Leviticus 19:15; Acts 10:34, 35; Ephesians 6:9)

When one is bias they can't see clearly. The only bias anyone should ever have is toward Jehovah God and Christ Jesus. Please learn the scriptures for yourself and stop making it about the church or organization. It's okay to congregate and encourage one another, you should, but don't be foolish. The Holy Scriptures speak to all of us, it's up to you to put in the work and find that message. If you're relying on "mans" understanding of it, you're not relying on Jehovah and Jesus Christ.

I love everyone, it doesn't matter who you are or what you believe in. If you are willing to study the Bible, I am always ready and willing to teach you how. Always rely on Jehovah to guide you.

"From infancy you have known the holy writings."

When you learn how to read and write in Portuguese using the Holy Scriptures, it's a beautiful thing. (Matthew15:13, 14)

Love Jehovah your God and obey what Jesus Christ taught you. (Matthew 22:37-39)

I made this for one of my students. She was mom-in-law from a previous marriage. She always knew about Jehovah, having a brother who is a JW. She told me how she prayed to Jehovah for help and 2 weeks later, her and I reconnected. She feels Jehovah has definitely blessed her and I agree, we were both blessed. We've been studying the Bible ever since.

JEHOVAH is MY EVERYTHING.

Harassment or injury that is deliberately inflicted on persons because of social status, racial origin, or religious faith and beliefs, the purpose in the latter instance being to stamp out such beliefs and prevent their spread among new converts. The Hebrew verb ra·dhaphʹ and the Greek di·oʹko, which mean “persecute,” can also be rendered “pursue, chase.”—Ex 15:9; De 1:44; Ro 14:19; Lu 17:23.

Whatever happens has already happened, and what is to come has already been; but the true God seeks what has been pursued.

Some bonds can't be broken.
One thing we have in common is our LOVE for Jehovah.

What is False Religion?
How many have left or stopped believing because of false teachings or persecution?

Excerpt...
"A religion is false if it does not teach the truth from the Bible. (2 Corinthians 11:13-15) False religion is like false money—it may look like the real thing, but it is worthless. It can cause you much trouble."

Butterflies and flowers can make a heart sing.

Do you honestly teach everything based off the Bible?

"Expose them for what they are."
Do you persecute those who do?

The hour is fast approaching.

I'll be using the following...it's (chapter 15) out of the Bible Teach book, it's an example of what many are teaching, but are ignoring for themselves. PRACTICE WHAT YOU PREACH...

JEHOVAH is watching

Chapter 15

paragraphs...
Our worship should be based on the Bible.
True worship is based only on God’s Word, the Bible. It is not based on human ideas, traditions, or anything else.
7 Everything Jesus taught was based on God’s Word. (Read John 17:17.) He often quoted the Scriptures. (Matthew 4:4, 7, 10True servants of God follow Jesus’ example and base everything they teach on the Bible.

Are you worshipping only Jehovah when you ignore his word, and follow mans word instead?

"In later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to misleading inspired statements."

Is it not misleading "false" to teach something that is not backed by Bible scripture?

Execution of Divine Judgment upon False Religion
Excerpt...
3. (a) Why is it not wrong to expose a false religion?
To make a public exposure of false religion is certainly of more value than exposing a news report as being untrue; it is a public service instead of a religious persecution and it has to do with the eternal life and happiness of the public. Still it leaves the public free to choose.

Aren't false teachings, a part of false religion?

"They will turn away from listening to the truth"

Are you a part of false religion?

More butterflies, one can never have enough.

Do you silence people who worship God over man?

"Unclean person or greedy person, which means being an idolater."

paragraphs...
We should worship only Jehovah.
We need to have genuine love for people.

Do you have Genuine love?
Without love, you have nothing. (1 Corinthians 13:2; 1 Timothy 1:5)

Is it genuine when you yell at them and talk down to them and almost make them cry?
 Hypocrite (Matthew 23:3; 24:48-51

There's a heart tucked away in there. Love...what better gift to give.

paragraph...
10 We use our time, energy, and material things to help and encourage one another. (Hebrews 10:24, 25) We “work what is good toward all.”—Galatians 6:10.

Is it encouraging to hear "because you will only teach Bible scripture and won't teach (a false statement) what is written in the Watchtower, you are no longer considered an unbaptized publisher"?

Is it encouraging to allow someone to continuously put their hand up during meetings, purposely not calling on them and ignoring them, never telling them your intention, until they ask you about it?

Is it encouraging to be told you are not allowed to ask questions?

Is it encouraging to be told you are no longer allowed to be given a "study"?

Is it encouraging to delete them as a friend and tell others (gossip) to do the same?

Is it encouraging to complain about the time you spent listening to them?

Is it not against scripture to tell someone they are not to dig deep into the Bible and only listen to the Governing Body because they put out the spiritual food? (Acts 5:29; Ephesians 5:6)

Is that what the Bible says?

Just how well do you know the Bible?

If you keep saying the "Faithful and Discreet Slave said" instead of "Jehovah God's Word...the Bible" said... is that not your god? (Isaiah 63:10) That is false worship.

Why do you silence someone?

What are you afraid of... the truth?

Do you "truthfully" work at what is good toward ALL?

"Those who are first, will be last."

paragraph...
14 After studying these points, ask yourself: ‘Who base their teachings on the Bible? Who tell others about God’s name? Who show genuine love toward one another and believe that God sent Jesus to save us? Who do not get involved in politics? Who preach that only God’s Kingdom can solve our problems?’ It is only Jehovah’s Witnesses.—Isaiah 43:10-12.

The above statement is FALSE.

Here's the truthful answer to all 5 questions... I know many JW's who will attest to this. They are just sitting quietly and waiting on Jehovah. (Matthew 7:14)

1. All religions have false doctrines that they teach.

2. Their are many who believe in monotheism and tell others about God's name, they are called Unitarians, and most call Him Yahweh...that is God's name.

3.Their are many beautiful people in ALL religions that show love and believe God sent Jesus to save us, and their are many people in ALL religions that do not show love.

4. You may not vote, but can you "honestly" say that secretly you don't favor a side when it comes to politics or that you don't watch politics? Then you're involved.

5. Many people teach about God's Kingdom, like you, with many varying beliefs.

HOPE is for ALL who listen and follow Jehovah God's word...the Holy Scriptures.

paragraphs...
16 For God to accept our worship, we must reject false religion.
17 What is false religion? It is any religion that teaches us to worship God in a way that is against his Word. The Bible calls all false religion “Babylon the Great.”

What do you think would be considered a cause for stumbling?
Perhaps a false teaching?

Wouldn't that make ALL religion, false religion?

One can always enjoy "good" spiritual food anywhere, whether it's at a meeting or somewhere else. When you're not bias, you will see that the Governing Body is not the "Faithful and Discreet Slave" and that you are following them blindly. If you are preaching false teachings and persecuting those who don't, then you are practicing false religion. (Ephesians 4:17-19) Their are many within the JW organization that practice false religion and don't even know that, that is what they are doing. (Ecclesiastes 5:1

I will not be a part of false religion, I go directly to Jehovah and His word, the Bible. (Hebrews 4:12) I sift the good out of the bad. (1 Corinthians 15:33) I do not judge. (Matthew 7:3, 4I love all people, respect them and hope they will find their way. (Matthew 7:14) I will always, SOLELY rely on JEHOVAH GOD for the answers that I seek and teach others to do the same, never will I rely on man, nor should you. (Acts 5:29)

Why don't JW's baptize in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy spirit?

I now know why Jehovah kept me from getting baptized, because He wanted it done the right way. (Acts 8:27-31, 35-38)

Where's the scripture that shows you must answer this question in order to get baptized?

#14 Do you believe that the Governing Body of Jehovah’s Witnesses is “the faithful and discreet slave” appointed by Jesus?

Do I know Jehovah's mind?
Do you?

ONLY JEHOVAH KNOWS THOSE WHO TRULY BELONG TO HIM, (2 Timothy 2:19) no one should ever be forced to answer that question. Even worse, have it used as blackmail by saying to them "you need to accept it, where else are you going to get baptized? You, who I trust love Jehovah, Jesus Christ and the Bible." Meaning, how else are you going to get baptized, unless you bow down to the organization first. That will never happen, Jehovah has made sure of it.

Who REALLY is the Faithful and Discreet Slave?

If you want to keep believing it's the Governing Body, that is your choice...but please, do not take part of their false teachings or condemn those who don't. (Colossians 2:8; 2 Corinthians 6:14, 17; 1Corinthians 10:21

You should ONLY be going to Jehovah God...the Holy Scriptures and following the examples given to you by Jesus Christ.

Yehwahʹ Shamʹmah ~ He has called.

Jehovah knows those who belong to Him...

JEHOVAH-JIREH ~ Jehovah always provides.

Hear the word of Jehovah, you who tremble at his word:
“Your brothers who hate you and exclude you because of my name said, ‘May Jehovah be glorified!’
But He will appear and bring you joy,
And they are the ones who will be put to shame.”

Who are the workers of lawlessness?

And now you know what is acting as a restraint, so that he will be revealed in his own due time.  7 True, the mystery of this lawlessness is already at work, but only until the one who is right now acting as a restraint is out of the way.  8 Then, indeed, the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will do away with by the spirit of his mouth and bring to nothing by the manifestation of his presence.
9 But the lawless one’s presence is by the operation of Satan with every powerful work and lying signs and wonders.
10 and every unrighteous deception for those who are perishing, as a retribution because they did not accept the love of the truth in order that they might be saved.  11 That is why God lets a deluding influence mislead them so that they may come to believe the lie,  12 in order that they all may be judged because they did not believe the truth but took pleasure in unrighteousness.

Know the difference, it's up to you...study the Bible. (Joshua 1:8; Psalm 1:1,2)

What does the seven women of Isaiah 4:1 represent?

7 Congregations...

(1) Ephesus (Revelation 2:1-7) - the congregation that had forsaken its first love (2:4).

(2) Smyrna (Revelation 2:8-11) - the congregation that would suffer persecution (2:10).

(3) Pergamum (Revelation 2:12-17) - the congregation that needed to repent (2:16).

(4) Thyatira (Revelation 2:18-29) - the congregation that had a false prophetess (2:20).

(5) Sardis (Revelation 3:1-6) - the congregation that had fallen asleep (3:2).

(6) Philadelphia (Revelation 3:7-13) - the congregation that had endured patiently (3:10).

(7) Laodicea (Revelation 3:14-22) - the congregation with the lukewarm faith (3:16).

We are all in this together, but it is up to you, the individual, to do the right thing. Pointing the finger at me or anyone else, is not going to do you any good. (1 Cor. 15:33; 5:9, 10; Col. 4:5, 6)

To ALL of the lost sheep in the world, please return to Jehovah, learn from the Bible, take in what is good and discard what is false, love ALL people and judge no one... the end is soon approaching. (Joel 2:28, 29: Daniel 12:4; Revelation 1:3)

For those whom don't know Jehovah... Draw close to Jehovah and He will draw close to You. (James 4:8)

Jehovah is my Father.

What does it mean...Apostate?

My days have been quite busy and I continue to face many trials. I'm so thankful to Jehovah for His protection and for illuminating my path. (Psalm 18:1-3; Proverbs 4:18) Aside from all else, I'm also working on a couple of projects, in between that, I've made some simple cards to help clear my mind and relax...coloring always helps.

Jehovah continues to teach me well. I've learned through Jesus, we must do everything in moderation, so as to not be overwhelmed and get lost along the way. Everything we do must be seasoned with salt. This includes our daily activities. (Ecclesiastes 3:1; Psalm 145:15; Proverbs 25:6; Matthew 5:13)

It's always nice to slow down and refresh the mind. If you been to my FB, you'll know that I've joined a Bibleread group, which I thoroughly enjoy being a part of, many have differing beliefs, from unitarians (monotheism) and trinitarians, but regardless...the respect is always given. As I continued to do my daily studies with the Bibleread group, I learned that I need to do it at my own pace, so as to not get overwhelmed in keeping up with a timetable.

I've reached a point where my studies needed to go deeper on the last chapters in Exodus and in the book of Leviticus, so keeping up with sharing my thoughts on it on a daily basis wouldn't allow for a clear head, I need time to meditate on it, as I continue to search other scriptures. Although I've studied the Bible, I'm now looking to break down the verses, chapter by chapter.

The point for me, is not to read the Bible in a year, it's to read the Bible as accurately as possible, and take the time to meditate on all that I am reading. When I am ready to share it, I will...but at my pace. I plan to update some of my previous blog posts, you may find that some changes were made to some already.

Here's a simple, yet elegant card I made using copic markers...

What is lack of trust?

Proverbs 3:5
"Trust in Jehovah with all your heart,
And do not rely on your own understanding."

How can you possibly make the truth your own, if you don't dig deep.(2 Corinthians 4:2) No one else has lived your life, only Jehovah knows the answers you're seeking. (Matthew 6:21; Matthew 6:6; Matthew 7:7; Proverbs 4:18) If you're still relying on "man" to get the answers you seek, the above question on trust is meant for you. (Proverbs 13:9; Matthew 4:4; Matthew 4:8, 9) How many have been stumbled because of incorrect teachings? (Romans 14:3, 4; 1 Corinthians 8:13)

See blog post ~ Fear (Smoke and Mirrors) Seeing Through It (my first stumbling block)

Is it not right to make changes on teachings that are inaccurate? If you haven't done so, why not? (Proverbs 25:27) "In answer Jesus said to him: “It is said, ‘You must not put Jehovah your God to the test.’" ~ Matthew 4:7

Jehovah teaches His people in an organized way. (1 Corinthians 14:33) Is it organized, when there is so much division? (Acts 20:29, 30) What development did Paul warn about? (1 Corinthians 1:10) DO NOT LIE... Can you honestly say there is no division? If you're one claiming there is no division, then you are part of the problem. (Zechariah 8:16, 17; John 8:44) If there isn't peace among all, then there is no holy spirit. (Romans 2:17-24)

See blog post ~ Narrow is the Gate (Pride and Idolatry)

Do you think yourself better than others, because of the food you are receiving? Did you ever stop to think that your understanding of the Holy Scriptures is that of men, and not of Jehovah? (Ephesians 5:6) What is a False Prophet?

We all get our food from the same place, Jehovah's word...the Holy Scriptures. (Hebrews 4:12, 13; Joshua 1:8; Psalm 1:1, 2)

Here's another card I'd like to share... Matthew 19:26

What is an Apostate?

"This term in Greek (a·po·sta·siʹa) comes from a verb literally meaning “to stand away from.” The noun has the sense of “desertion, abandonment, or rebellion.” In the Christian Greek Scriptures, “apostasy” is used primarily with regard to those who defect from true worship.—Pr 11:9; Ac 21:21; 2Th 2:3."

If one chooses man's word over Jehovah's word, is that not apostasy? Does it not defect from Jehovah, to make "man's" principles go above Jehovah's principles? Do you teach principles that stand away from the Holy Scriptures? (1 John 4:1-3)

Example: see updated blog post ~ Baptism - Circumcision of the Heart (specifically Watchtower April 1, 2009 The New Birth—How Does It Take Place?

Must you be baptized in water first, before you can be anointed? Is there scripture that can prove that? If not, then why do you teach it and punish those who don't? (Mark13:21-23) Who really is your God? The false prophet or Jehovah? (Matthew 7:15-23) What does it mean to be chosen "before the founding" of the world?

"Predestinarian view
...texts such as Ephesians 1:4, 5 are cited as evidence that God foreknew and foreordained the future of all his creatures even before the start of creation."

If you are still teaching it, is it not a false teaching? Do you get mad (rebel) at those who question "man's" explanation of scripture? Do you look the other way (desertion) when one uses scripture to explain their point, and you continue to rely on "man" for your answers? Do you even consider them to be an apostate, if they question mistakes found that are taught by your leaders? If you turn your back on the Bible, are you not turning your back (desertion) on Jehovah, to follow man instead? Is it possible that you are an apostate, practicing false worship and don't even know it? How many have fallen to false religion and don't even know that, that is what they are doing? If you're still following "man" then you are not following Jehovah.

Here's another card... 2 Corinthians 12:9

What is PURE WORSHIP?

If it's Jehovah you worship, stay close to Jehovah and rely ONLY on the Holy Scriptures for your answers. If it can't be explained to you through scripture, then it's not an answer. If you continue to go to man and choose to look the other way, after something has been proven to you in scripture, then you are abandoning JEHOVAH... you are an APOSTATE.

“It Was My Sanctuary That You Defiled”—Pure Worship Corrupted.
"Jehovah loved and cared for the Israelites as his “treasured possession.” (Ex. 19:5, ftn.) But they repaid Jehovah by worshipping false gods in the very temple that bore his name! They broke Jehovah’s heart and brought reproach upon him."

Who REALLY is the Faithful and Discreet Slave? Would Jehovah choose a false prophet? Who do you really follow... JEHOVAH GOD, or the false prophet? (2 Corinthians 11:13-15)

Trust in Jehovah is Trust in His timing. (2 Peter 3:9) It's not about religion, it's about you, as the individual and Jehovah God. Jehovah is watching. (Hebrews 4:12, 13) Why do I attend meetings? For Jehovah... and because I love my brothers and sisters, and I want them to see the light. (Proverbs 6:23; 2 Peter 1:19)

Here's the last card for today... Proverbs 31:26

When I teach my students, I teach them about the TRUTH, that Jehovah God is LOVE and requires EXCLUSIVE DEVOTION. We must do everything in LOVE, and follow the examples and LOVE shown to us by Jesus Christ.

I teach ONLY the accurate parts of the literature that I use and I have them click on every scripture, to be sure that what is written is PROPERLY backed by scripture. I never make it about the organization. (1 Corinthians 3:16, 17) I explain how imperfect we all are, including the Governing Body and many other leaders. It is not our place to judge, LOVE all people, regardless of their faults or beliefs. In the end each of us render an account and have freewill to make the right choice. (Romans 14:10-12) Always taking the good out of the bad.

Always do what is right by Jehovah God...read the Bible daily, put your TRUST in Him and draw close to JEHOVAH.
