As I move forward with my life, fully devoted to my Father who is in Heaven, I'm ready to share some key aspects of my life with you. I'll start from the beginning...in the end it leads to the great awakening.

My maiden name is Maria Emilia Gomes, I was born on September 27, 1968, in Newark, NJ at St. James Hospital. In total, we were a Family of 13, I am 1 of 11 children, the 6th oldest and youngest. I was the Firstborn in the United States. My 5 older siblings were born in Portugal and my 5 younger siblings were born here in the US. I have an older brother who had passed before I was born. I have a unique feature, a birthmark, it resembles both the Letter Z and a Lightning Bolt.

By the time I was born my mother was already studying to become a Jehovah's Witness, converting from her Catholic faith, she would attend the Portuguese Kingdom Hall on Mott St. in Newark. There, is where I learned to read and write in Portuguese, from the Portuguese Bible and from some additional literature. My favorite book until this day was "My Book of Bible Stories." I remember being very little, 4 or 5 years old, I was just learning how to write. I was sitting at the Kingdom Hall next to my mom and I got so excited because I learned how to write and spell my last name "Gomes", I also have a vague memory of writing Jesus Cristo (Christ) too.

I remember thinking Jehovah (Jeova') was my Father and that Jesus was my brother, I truly believed they were my family. I knew them both personally, Father and Son. I remember having conversations with Jehovah in Spirit, Sacred Secrets. Even though I didn't see him, I knew he was present. I loved them both dearly, they were my family, I clearly remember that now. Although, many of my memories are still a bit of a fog, many have come back to me. In 1977 I went to Portugal for the first time, I remember being at the beach early morning and there was an intense fog, you could barely see the ocean, I remember how peaceful it felt, playing in the sand and always looking up to the heavens and smiling, a very special moment.

I was very close to my mom, some would say I was attached at the hip. I was a very happy little girl, close to my Father in Heaven. Jehovah made me smile often, he taught me to appreciate the beauty of Nature, the colors of the Rainbow, the clouds, the bugs, flowers and trees, even the large Dew drop on the leaf and the snowfall, I appreciated it all, it brought me such happiness. I often looked up at the skies and smiled, makes me want to cry every time I think about it. I missed it tremendously.

Much had changed since then. Having a big family was not always easy, as I got older and started school, I started to realize people thought differently than I did, I couldn't make sense of it and slowly became very disheartened, crushed in spirit. Although I loved going to school, I didn't like certain things that happened.

I have a memory that has always stayed with me, going back to 1st grade at Wilson Ave. School in Newark and going to the auditorium, a boy named Q sat down next to me. We were in the front row in the first 2 seats at the end, we sat down and Q kissed me on the cheek. It was the first time I can remember being really upset as a child, I remember running to the teacher and telling her about it, and crying about it to my mother later on that day. That's just one, of many things, that started to change how I felt about life and people. It's as if I were living in a bubble and then it suddenly popped. Slowly, I started to lose my way, until I became completely lost.

I've since returned to Jehovah in 2019, it started with me attending the Memorial of Jesus Christ. My greatest Joy was attending the "Love Never Fails" Jehovah's Witness Convention in July at the Mohegan Sun in PA. It had very special meaning for me, especially on the last day, one that can be explained, but not understood. Going there was in great contrast to when my boys and I appeared on FOX News when attending the Trump Rally the previous year, we had VIP seats.
Note: It amazed me that no (DOD) security check was ever made. We weren't invited to sit there; my boys and their friend saw empty seats and took it upon themselves to sit there, with no resistance we remained. As others arrived, they were made to take off their tags for VIP's. I saddened me to think we took someone else's seats, but I figured they probably received some kind of upgrade. I would have never thought that exactly one year later I would return to the Mohegan Sun to attend the convention (assembly) for JW's. *It's all connected, see below.

Since I pretty much studied the entire Bible from beginning to the end, then back to the beginning. I learned the bible does speak to us individually. The 2 books I've never forgotten as a child were the Book of Genesis and The Book of Revelation. It's a book of instruction, guidance that is unique to each of us. There's a message there for everyone. I received mine. In time, I made a decision to return to the Portuguese Kingdom Hall, the language that speaks to the heart.

The book Proverbs - Wisdom is personified as a woman. The (NWT) is the only Bible I've read thus far that doesn't reflect that.

I had a closeness with Jehovah that no words can ever explain, and it didn't need to be, it was a personal bond, it felt normal to me. I called to him in Portuguese ~ Jeova' and Pai, (Father). I would say "Jeová é o meu Pai" meaning, Jehovah is my Father. I would also say "Eu amo te Jeová e Jesus também" I love you Jehovah and Jesus too. Spoken from the heart, the language that speaks to my Spirit, Sacred Secrets. I'm so thankful to have that connection with Jehovah through Jesus Christ once again.

I've always maintained that I wasn't part of this world. I couldn't fit in, I couldn't adapt, soon enough, that happy bright smile turned dim. Hence the reason for the multiple suicide attempts, starting with my early teens to adulthood. The fact that I survived the last attempt on my life amazes me, it was well over a decade ago, but for what I did to myself, I should not be here.

- My mom passed away on 9/11/11 and my dad passed away (14) days later, so I lost both of my parents 9/11.
- I became barren and had an urgent hysterectomy on 9/11/20.
