Generations - Limited Edition

Here is a vintage page I also created several years ago as a design team member at Art Anthology. From generation to generation many of us face a lot of dark places, places we don't want to be in or go to. As I go through my journey and study of the bible, I realize more and more why it was so important for me to return to my roots.

It's s a beautiful thing, to be able to smile again, as I did as a child. I've truly been blessed.
I do thank Jehovah, our God, who is my heavenly Father.

But the path of the righteous is like the bright morning light
That grows brighter and brighter until full daylight.

1 Furthermore, God made you alive, though you were dead in your trespasses and sins,
2 in which you at one time walked according to the system of things of this world, according to the ruler of the authority of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience

For God is the one who said: “Let the light shine out of darkness,” and he has shone on our hearts to illuminate them with the glorious knowledge of God by the face of Christ.

She Was Herself Again ~ Contented Spirit

I have calmed and quieted my soul... I am contented like a weaned child.

When our life takes an unexpected turn, the changes that we have to face may cause us apprehension and emotional stress. (Prov. 12:25

We may even find it hard to accept those changes. In such circumstances, how can we ‘calm and quiet’ our soul? (Ps. 131:1-3

Despite adverse circumstances, we today can experience firsthand the soothing effect of “the peace of God” that guards our mental powers. (Phil. 4:6, 7

Thus, if we turn to Jehovah when we feel overwhelmed by anxiety, God’s peace can strengthen our determination to reach spiritual goals and guard us against any tendency to give up. In addition to calming us down, God’s spirit can draw our attention to key scriptures that will help us to keep our spiritual priorities.—John 14:2627

Journey

What an Amazing journey that I have been on, for about a year now. As I have reflected on my past, the memories of my childhood to where I am today, I'm still amazed by it all. I know that I'm on my way to something so beautiful, peaceful and loving and the more I draw closer to Jehovah, the more clear that picture becomes. I have been truly blessed.

Leviticus 25:10 ASV — And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubilee unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family.

John 8:36 ASV — If therefore the Son shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

Isaiah 61:1 ASV — The Spirit of the Lord Jehovah is upon me; because Jehovah hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;

Mark 1:22 ASV — And they were astonished at his teaching: for he taught them as having authority, and not as the scribes.

You Make Life Beautiful & Shine Your Light

Art Journals are another good and quick way to express creativity and without much fuss. Keeping it simple with paints, ink sprays, stamps and gel pen and a bit of texture directly on the page, or through a stencil. To create a bit more interest, I simply used white paint splatter on the first journal and pan pastels on the face for the second one

who was caught away into paradise and heard words that cannot be spoken and that are not lawful for a man to say.

For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake is the one who will save it.

by means of him was life, and the life was the light of men.

Art is the Life Energy of the Soul ~ Tags

I've drawn inspiration from many places and many things, including from artists and crafters around the world, I'm grateful to many who shared their talents for us to enjoy. Although, as much as I truly appreciate it, none of us can ever compare to our awe-inspiring creator, our heavenly Father, the greatest artist, who is perfect in every way.

And God went on to create the man in his image, in God’s image he created him; male and female he created them.

“You are worthy, Jehovah our God, to receive the glory and the honor and the power, because you created all things, and because of your will they came into existence and were created.”

By the Moments in Time

There are moments in time that I now reflect on, that have brought me back to where I am today, moments that can easily take my breath away. The time has definitely come for me to be back home, some words I just couldn't begin to express. Step by step video posted below.

Psalm 91:9-11 ASV — For thou, O Jehovah, art my refuge! Thou hast made the Most High thy habitation; There shall no evil befall thee, Neither shall any plague come nigh thy tent. For he will give his angels charge over thee, To keep thee in all thy ways.

Psalm 91:14-16 ASV — Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble: I will deliver him, and honor him. With long life will I satisfy him, And show him my salvation.

Lighthouse ~ By the Sea

Keeping this post simple. This project I created a few years back. Keeping with the "By the Sea" saying looks nice, but I plan to eventually switch it out for an actual photo, just haven't taken the right one yet. You'll find a YouTube step by step video posted below.

God is my anchor, he keeps me grounded.

He reached down from on high; He took hold of me and pulled me from deep waters.

We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, both sure and firm, and it enters in within the curtain,

19 Therefore, brothers, since we have boldness for the way of entry into the holy place by the blood of Jesus,
20 which he opened up for us as a new and living way through the curtain, that is, his flesh,

Your word is a lamp to my foot, And a light for my path

Inspire the Arts

My altered paintbrush, created with wings and a rainbow of colors. One of my favorite things to create, taking something from it's original purpose, recycling it and creating a new piece of Art with it. We've all been altered one way or another from God's original purpose due to the first sin of Adam and Eve. But something altered can be made into perfection.

1John 2:5
But whoever does observe his word, in this person the love of God has truly been made perfect. By this we know that we are in union with him.

Who is God?
He is our creator, our heavenly Father.

“Lift up your eyes to heaven and see. Who has created these things? It is the One who brings out their army by number; he calls them all by name. Because of his vast dynamic energy and his awe-inspiring power, not one of them is missing.”

“Know that Jehovah is God. He is the one who made us, and we belong to him.”

“I am Jehovah. That is my name; I give my glory to no one else, nor my praise to graven images.”

“Everyone who calls on the name of Jehovah will be saved.”

“Of course, every house is constructed by someone, but the one who constructed all things is God.”

I plan to do "How To" YouTube videos again, I lost all of my previous videos, but I found couple of them from a design team I had been on. Here's one of them.

Everyone Has a Story - Tagboard

We're all unique from the moment we're born due to our own experiences in life, not one person will ever know who we are truly from within, except for Jehovah, the One true God. I was born into faith, the truth of Jehovah and Jesus Christ, but as I approached my teen years, much had happened to me and I became crushed in spirit.

Job 12:10 ASV — In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, And the breath of all mankind?

Now that I've returned to doing Jehovah's will, I realize that most of my artwork was an escape from the "real" world and that I've been blessed to have this ability, a creative outlet if you will. I am thankful that I can use my artwork not only to inspire others, but by sharing it along with my own life's experiences. To think that I can possibly help others just by quoting from the bible, is a blessing in itself.

I am very thankful to Jehovah for bringing me back home.

Proverbs 3:3 ASV — Let not kindness and truth forsake thee: Bind them about thy neck; Write them upon the tablet of thy heart:

Psalm 1:2 ASV — But his delight is in the law of Jehovah; And on his law doth he meditate day and night.

Psalm 119:11 ASV — Thy word have I laid up in my heart, That I might not sin against thee.

Treasured Memories ~ The Quieter You Become

I made this a few years back from an old salvaged book. I altered the pages by adding gesso, paints and inks. By adding some embellishments, texture and stamping I created this little water world. I truly agree with the sentiment "The quieter you become the more you can hear. I love how it relates to the scriptures below.

9 Let the one who has ears listen.”
11 In reply he said: “To you it is granted to understand the sacred secrets of the Kingdom of the heavens, but to them it is not granted.
12 For whoever has, more will be given him, and he will be made to abound; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken from him

A Baby Keepsake Album

I made this baby keepsake album in 2016 for photos and to record memories, a gift for my niece Stacey and her beautiful daughter Abigail. There is much joy in giving, to think I can help put a smile on someone's face, even if for just a brief moment, makes me smile in return.

Practice giving, and people will give to you. They will pour into your laps a fine measure, pressed down, shaken together, and overflowing. For with the measure that you are measuring out, they will measure out to you in return.”

‘There is more happiness in giving than there is in receiving.’

But I wish all men were as I am. Nevertheless, each one has his own gift from God, one in this way, another in that way.
